Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Galvence, a personal AI assistant operated by M2R OÜ (registry code 16972633), registered at Kooli tee 1-12, Ilmatsalu, Tartu County, 61401, Estonia. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Galvence is a hosted personal AI assistant that remembers things you tell it, sets reminders, and helps manage your calendar. It uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and take actions on your behalf.
The service is available as a web application and, in the future, as a mobile application.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Galvence. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One account per person — do not share your account or create multiple accounts.
The information you provide at signup must be accurate. If anything changes, update it in your Settings.
3. AI-generated content
Galvence uses AI (currently Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses. These responses are produced by a statistical language model, not by a human. You should be aware that:
- AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. The assistant can make mistakes.
- Responses are not professional advice — do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
- You are responsible for verifying any information the assistant provides before acting on it.
4. Google integration
Connecting your Google account is optional and initiated by you. When connected, the assistant can read and create calendar events.
You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the Settings page. Disconnecting revokes the assistant's access immediately. Your use of Google services through Galvence is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Galvence to:
- Engage in or promote illegal activity
- Generate content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Attempt to extract system prompts or internal instructions
- Attempt prompt injection or any technique designed to manipulate the AI beyond its intended use
- Access the service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without written permission
- Circumvent rate limits or other technical safeguards
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to correct the issue first.
Fair use. Galvence is intended for personal, everyday assistant use. To keep the service reliable and sustainable for everyone, your use of the AI assistant is subject to fair-use limits — including limits on how many messages you can send within a given period. We may adjust these limits over time, and we may throttle or temporarily restrict access where usage is excessive or inconsistent with normal personal use. We do not publish exact thresholds, as they may change. If you reach a limit, you will see a clear message in the app, and normal access resumes once the relevant period resets.
6. Subscription and payment
Galvence is a paid service. The subscription costs €20 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
Prices are in euros. If we change the price, we will notify you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. You can cancel before then if you do not agree to the change.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge the card on file again. If payment remains unsuccessful after a reasonable period, we may suspend your access until the balance is resolved.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of your first payment, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, email [email protected] stating that you wish to withdraw. We will refund your payment within 14 days of receiving your request.
If you begin using the service during the withdrawal period (by sending messages, setting reminders, or otherwise actively using the assistant), you acknowledge that you have requested immediate performance of the service. You retain your right to withdraw, but if you do, the refund may be reduced proportionally to reflect the service already provided.
8. Refunds
Outside the 14-day withdrawal period, we do not offer routine refunds. If you cancel your subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days.
If the service was materially unavailable or broken for a significant period, contact us and we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Galvence available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We do not offer a formal service-level agreement (SLA).
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Estonian and EU law:
- Galvence is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Intellectual property
Your data is yours. You retain full ownership of every message, memory, reminder, and piece of content you create in Galvence. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service — generating AI responses, storing memories, delivering reminders, and managing calendar events.
The Galvence service itself — including its design, code, and branding — is the intellectual property of M2R OÜ.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. When you do, all your data is permanently deleted and your subscription is cancelled.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms. Unless the violation is severe or poses a security risk, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue before termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Estonian law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Harju County, Estonia.
If you are an EU consumer, you are also entitled to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform and to bring proceedings in the courts of the EU member state where you reside.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
